   Interesting. I agree that it’s wonderful, although I can’t really see why you think it’s closer to C&P than A&B, John.

   A&B had some good tracks, but I am not a huge fan of the rap on it. What is interesting is that I like Rap, just not fond of the rap on A&B. I listen to Green for different reasons than I listen to rap. Mixing em up just didn’t do it for me. I loved Dusted with Oil and I really like Petrocoala (sp?)

   I’ve never been fond of ‘Smith n Slappy’ but other than that thought it worked well. WBBB is as good as I’d hoped. Would be interested in what people think of ‘After Six’ cos, having liked it played live, I was surprised at the weak production, IMO.

   So far i like the album very much. But i must say that the live gigs created some false expectations towards the tempo and spirit of the songs. This goes for After 6 and for Robin Hood (which is still a great tune) Maybe Green & Co. should do an uptempo and grungy live album shortly. My favorite so far is Petrococadollar.

   The straight funk at the end of Mrs. Hughes is cool. And Green’s doubled voices (he doubles everything) are really cool. The songs are growing on me… let’s wait and see.

   The sun is shining here in Holland and with this music it’s such a nice combination. Even while doing paperwork… which I don’t like…

    I must say, i really have to get used to the new album. The live material is very different in feel, a lot more energetic. I’m still just taking it in at the moment, don’t have clear favourites yet, or songs i don’t like. I’m just really surprised by the difference, even though several sources said it was really different.

    Petrococadollar is growing on me, a slow burning song with a lot of tension. Like it a lot.

    The song Throw is great. I had the cd in my car whilst driving across sunny Holland today. Life is great and Green is a genius. I am so happy with the new songs. My ADHD is itching all over again.

    Hey everybody !!
    I just downloaded the new Album and I think it is super-funky-fresh !
    It’s so much better than any Haircut 100 album I’ve ever listened to !
    I was listening in the shower and doing some dancing and I fell over and bumped my head….ouch ! I have to take baths now…..
    What’s your favourite Haircut 100 song, Scritti gang ????
