Really digging those Steely Dan-esque keboards towards the end of 'The Word Girl'! If it sounds 'too loud' it's because it was - slightly distorted on some of the songs but still a great gig.

Indeed, a great show at the Bush - completely convincing, wholly uplifting (despite some sound problems). Saw them at the Scala in July - a show that made sense of WBBB for me, as well as an incredibly emotional experience seeing them again for the first time since 1979 when a mere lad - and a pleasure to see the band again having become familiar with the album. Delightful to hear the tunes off A&B too - an album which I completely overlooked at the time and only bought as a result of seeing them in July. For me it's second only to WBBB [a remarkable record] so go get if you haven't already: fabulous songwriting, great performances, lovely production.

GG is one of the most astonishing writers, singers and performers of our time, and so bloody funky!! The band too is a complete joy. Who'd have thought?! I even bought a t-shirt! PS great site, great fans. Thanks all and keep on loving the music.

Yes, I agree.

And I think that Ralph should change the bassdrum pattern of Brushed at the end... more straight funk, more on the one :)

Wonderful clips! Thanks much! Went to the Boston show and by the looks of it...the band just gets better and better...and Green looks more and more comfortable up there!
He's a wonderful, genuine guy...and I'm truly lucky to have been able to spend the entire afternoon getting to not only hear the sound check, but also meet the band, and talk to Green about life, marriage, my kids and everything in between! Truly a highlight of my life (right after getting married and having my kids)...
Hopefully, we'll see GG again soon!

Thanks for clips. It was a great gig. Scala was excellent, but this was several notches up, both for the richer setlist (I'd missed that word Girl was now included, so that blew me away), plus both songs from A & B - BWO,DWP blew me away completely. Thewy've clearly got lots of practice in as a live unit. Tight, but having lots of fun at the same time. Very happy making.
