Not only did he and the band sound stupendous (especially on Dr. Abernathy), he held his own with the wacky morning DJ. For a guy who claims to be uncomfortable meeting people, he sure knows how to fake it in the studio. On air, he came off as everything we fans believe him to be: articulate, intelligent, funny and exceptionally quick witted. Reminds me of the lyrics from "Locked": "Stepping out each morning, I smile and play the part, of someone strong and smart. It's make believing. It's a living." Fortunately, he's also made it his credo to be honest to a fault. So when I hear him say this is his best year ever, I have to believe there'll be more good days--and more goodmusic--to come from Green. Wow. Green was really on top of his game on this one.
