   Really, really liked the songs. Some folk influence on Forgiven? Very much an interview from the muso perspective, rather than any information about future activity/releases etc, but interesting all the same.

   I’m shocked!
   I been into Scritti Politti for 20 years now, and this is the first time I’ve heard Green speak! Who’d have thought he actually has a deep speaking voice?!
   Gorgeous songs, as usual.

   I must say this is one of the nicest songs from Green since the Cupid and Psyche days! Perfect work of a genius! I have been listening and following the music of Scritti since 1985 and I must say it seems that Green has finally come to a place of confident authenticity. Not hiding behind the veneer of cryptic lyrics or applying some deconstruction of the pop phenomenon. I am really happy for him.

   Stunning, aren’t they? The first song especially. Sorry to labour a point I’ve made before, but I hope his vocals don’t get layered to death if and when these songs are recorded. In fact I’d quite like Green to say to Charles Hazlewood “Thanks for the free use of your studio” and release ‘Unfrozen’ as it is here. It’s just gorgeous from start to finish.

   Cynthia, I know what you mean. I do, however, think the lyrics are extremely cryptic, even if they are more ‘personal’ than in the 80s when he was consciously playing around with the ‘language of pop’.

    i too had never heard green,s spoken voice.very surprised!two great tracks from a musical legend.very glad scritti are back.last two albums have rekindled my youth with gartsides fantastic vocals.keep it up.!
