There was an interview with Geoff Travis in yesterday’s Sunday Times, in which he outlined forthcoming Rough Trade releases:
“We’ve got the first solo album from Elisabeth Fraser, new work from The Strokes and Belle and Sebastian; Antony is making a new album, Green is working hard on a new Scritti Politti record and Surfjan is making a new record.”
‘The Boom Boom Bap’ was featured on a Rough Trade 10-track CD ‘Indie Icons – Modern Songs To Remember’ given away with the paper which is the biggest-selling UK Sunday broadsheet (1.3 million circulation).
