Green and Rhodri play Barbican in London
For your enjoyment, a photo of Green and Richard Thompson on stage at the Barbican Center tonight. FYI, in the ’90s, Thompson wrote the song “Bone Through Her Nose,” about an urban “tribal animal” who, he sings with seeming snideness, has a “boyfriend who plays in Scritti Politti.” Needless to say, I never expected to see the two of them on stage together, but there they were at tonight’s tribute to the Incredible String Band, and apparently they got along fine. Green even sang his two songs with Thompson’s daughter Camilla on harmony vocals. –Matt (Friend of John Hyde’s from Chicago)
