You can find a lot of performance of these events on youtube…my favourites are Free Ride covered by Green and Robyn Hitchcock and the wonderful Fruit Tree by Green in Barbican,21-01-10…..

Hi! Thanks to those above for the links to brand new audio and video. Green sounds great on the Nick Drake songs and as unhurried as ever (about finishing recording anything) in the BBC Radio interview. Just one small change though: the link above to the interview jumps to the Friday show not the Thursday one that Green was interviewed on. This link:

gets to the Thursday show and the interview is indeed about 1 hr 13 minutes into the show. The show will only be available on the iPlayert for a few more days though.

As you’ll hear, as always he’s in denial about life’s timescales, but vaguely promises a completed new album come the summer.

The Glasgow gig was brilliant. I guess Sheena isn’t familiar with the works of Nick Drake, hopeful she got something out of the gig.
