Best of Scritti Politti Commercial

Since I doubt we will actually see a commercial from EMI or anyone else in the Scritti Politti camp, I thought I would make one of my own. I borrowed the video from a recognized beverage company. You know what Picasso said, good artists copy, great artists steal. :D

Interesting that I used Pepsi ads during the A+B phase (with the bottle cap metaphor and White Bread Black Beer I toyed around with Guiness, they are all drink metaphors. This one is vodka clear! I hope you enjoy the clip. –John

Had a listen to the Jo Whiley segment – seems to have taken her by surprise that Green was there. Can pick him up singing a bit, and think he must be playing the guitar, on the She Wolf cover.
Though perhaps Hot Chip hinted Green may be at Glastonbury with them, but either I or Jo got the wrong end of the stick as she took it as a leaning towards collaborating with Shakira.
Did anything come of the Green/Alex stuff?
Could this lead to Scritti opening for Hot Chip on tour to promote the ‘Best Of’?

I saw one of the gigs Alexis & Green did when they were working on stuff for Alexis’ solo album. I believe the tracks didn’t get finished in time for the album’s release, but that they may surface at some point in the future. Hope so ‘cos they were sounding good.
