Woo-hoo!!! So, there should be a new Scritti album later this year on Rough Trade according to the man himself. Can’t wait; although I doubt it will sound anything like the new tracks on the Best of.

Lucky Australians! I wish they’d bring the Nick Drake tour to the US, and not just because Green is part of it. Well, mostly because he’s part of it, but also because I thought Teddy Thompson was brilliant in it and I’m of fan of Drake’s work.

Damn, the interview is no longer available! If I get to see Green Gartside live I’ll be able to cross it off my ‘things to do before I die’ list. Playing in Oz would be fantastic. Perhaps at the annual Byron Bay blues and folk festival in 2012??
