   “The Jam Pt 2” is no longer on iTunes. Apparently it was a mistake that it ended up on there in the first place.

   i thought something was going on because ive been looking for the single for weeks so today when i was in glasgow shopping i popped into virgin & asked about the single & i was told the release date was september but they havent had it in yet so i thought a big shop like virgin not having it in was strange !

   ‘jam pt. 2’ is amazing. way better than ‘hands up’. a shame it’s disappeared from itunes, but the track is a sign of the green/skillz stuff to come it bodes very well.

   The Jam Part 2 was on the UK itunes when I checked this morning. Unfortunately, being that I live in the USA, I cannot purchase the single, its b-sides, nor The Jam Part 2.

   I’m very sad.

   Tom Robinson played “After Six” last night on Radio 6, said it was out as a single on 27th Nov – new b-sides perhaps?
   Also I think he said that they would be popping into do a session soon? I was half listening in another room at the time!

   Thanks for the info, Richard. It was TR who announced that ‘Snow in Sun’ would be a single but his time I’m ‘praying’ that he’s mistaken. Rough Trade failed to capitalise on the timing of the Mercury nomination, ‘Snow in Sun’ being playlisted on national radio and a new prime time telly adaptation of ‘Robin Hood’! Ok, maybe the last point is stretching things a bit ;-) But honestly, I’d rather they waited to go back in the studio rather than promote the album with this insipid piece of anaemically-produced glam. It reminds me of the Human League’s cover of The Glitter Band’s ‘Let’s Get Together Again’ and that isn’t meant to be a compliment!
